Hey all! Halie back again. Just giving you an update. I am able to eat turkey and chicken just fine, still not sure about bacon or jerky but as I get my check Thursday I will know soon enough. Hey it's Halie, for day 12 and 13. You see I won't be keeping a detailed blog about my eating exploits after this as I already got my answer. Well for the most part, I will message you when I eat the jerky/bacon.
I can eat poultry nicely now. And it has been about two weeks since I started. It shows to me that if you have a strong will, and stomach you can become adjusted to eating poultry again, even after 12 years in about two weeks. I was told by some others that it takes some people months or years to get adjusted. Guess I showed the shortest amount of time. eh?
I did get to eat my cashew chicken today. Didn't get a video of that since the stupid Chinese place kept messing up our order and it took forever to get the food by that time I was just hungry and ate with gusto.

Hey it is me, Halie. I been busy writing and sewing and a few other things so I forgot to upload the videos until today. As you can see I have had an assortment of poultry since. Ramen, Turkey breast, and also shake and bake.
As it goes on it seems my stomach no longer has problems with the poultry. I will stop using soda with my poultry when the two liter runs out. And hope that I can handle it without. I really miss drinking my water. I still have cravings for cream stuff like Ice cream and milk and such. Wonder when that will stop or if that is related to the summer. *shrug*. The only problem I have currently is my last bit of digestion still seems confused. hopefully it will be alright.
And as always I ask my viewers to send me recipes. I would very much like some since I am clueless.
Hello, It is Halie again! Today is day 8 on the eating poultry again adventure. I ate a turkey and chicken sandwhich early and it was pretty good. I like the mesquite turkey best so far, makes sense since when I could eat that stuff as a kid, Lemon pepper turkey beast was my favorite lunch meat. :D
I also ate Shake and bake chicken. It was pretty good and my housemate helped me cook it as I was clueless. I dislike the smell of raw chicken so it was pretty weird and got stuck smelling like that afterwards.
As for digestion. Today has been a crappy digestion day. I feel like hurling and have coughed up some chicken from the drumsticks. I also have been going in and out of the toilet frequently. So today sucks for digestion. But I will move forward and pass this! Wish me luck
Hey, Halie again, on Day 7 Yes, a whole week already!
Yesterday was Day 7, but I am posting today as I ate late yesterday and well I was sleepy. Not sure that is a side effect from the poultry or the heat. Yes I ate orange chicken and it was extremely pitiful! Didn't taste bad but was very pitiful in size.
As for how poultry is affecting me. For the most part is it nausea, and my last end of digestion can't decided what it will be like and changes often. I have a craving for sweet creamy products like smoothies, chococlate milk and ice cream. Not sure if that is due to the poultry or the heat.
All in all, I am doing good. Hopefully this will be a short transition.
Day 6! Wow, didn't think I would make it this long. Yes, I am still getting sick but not as much. Can start reducing the soda around the soft chicken/poultry to see how much I can take. The lighting isn't good for this video.
Today I had the chicken and dumplings, I also got a turkey dog (friend made me one and I didn't realize at first so I ate it when she said), I also had popcorn chicken and chicken with mash potatoes.
Tomorrow is Friday so I have plenty things to think about for what to make to eat for next week as I go food shopping Saturday sometimes. I think I am gonna try to get stuff for shake and bake, It has been years since I have had shake and bake. :D
My stomachaches are getting smaller, though now it affects my end system. Seems like it's not too happy, but is not the worse I seen it be so I think I will be fine. Who knows maybe it will only take me a month to get to eating turkey jerky like nothing. hahaha, that would be awesome!
Hello again! Today is day 5! Wow, time flies. Yes yesterday I was tortured by turkey bacon because it was too soon to eat the rougher cooked turkey. Got to give me props though for being ambitious. :D
Today I ate turkey franks, and to be honest, I hate Hotdogs no matter what. Turkey, pork, chicken, veggie, beef, etc. Yeah I hate them. Had the other meats when I was a kid before meat started to make me ill. Now I am trying to eat Turkey and chicken again and I still hate Hotdogs. I had to cover the dogs with sweet relish, onions, mustard and ketchup.
I am still getting stomach aches, but not as bad from lunch meat. I had some more today and It seems that it is the easiest to digest and I may need less soda to deal with it. Yay! Since it is week 1 I can't eat it without something to settle my stomach.
How has it affected me? Well I haven't hurled yet despite the feeling like I am going to. I keep feeling like something is doing flips inside me. It reminds me of an episode from Roseanne and they had that loose meat stand at the fair despite Darlene's objections. And I am a bit more sleepy not sure if that is due to summer heat or to the turkey/chicken.
Today I have had a turkey/chicken sandwhich which I was pretty okay with just a bit of soda(one can). Then I did the stupidest thing which my stomach let me know it was stupid for the rest of the day. I ate Turkey bacon. Now it doesn't taste bad, not very flavorful yet it was too soon for bacon. As one is suppose to go into eating the poultry easy. Bacon is not a day 4 thing. hahaha. Ow. :P
Well, laters I went out with a friend and we ate at subway and I had a turkey breast sub. Pretty good, still soda. Though with lunch meat I seem to be needing less by now.
Well as I said eating the turkey bacon was stupid. After I ate that I felt like I had a whole turkey in my stomach fluttering around pecking at my insides. Not a great feeling, so I spent most of the day laying down. I did go out, but I got motion sickness. Still I didn't throw up, then again it takes a lot to make me hurl. However this put off my digestion in all forms for today. Wonder what tomorrow will hold. However I know it is soft turkey and chicken right now, no more turkey bacon for now. But I will let you all see when I get up to being able to eating turkey jerky! I am aiming for the stars, or at least to jerky.
Hey all, Halie here again! Today is Day 3. While I really wanted to try eating Turkey bacon that I bought I am not sure I am going to be good with tougher digestion yet since I am still getting sick from eating chicken and turkey.
Today I had those mini chicken sandwhiches. Later I had the mini chicken salad which my friend tells me looks like cat food. hahaha. But I went easy and didn't have any chicken for my third meal today. :D I had rice instead. Yummy!
Today I felt queasy the whole day and it still feels like something is jumping around in my stomach. But not as strong as day 1. It seems that I am fastly adjusting to digesting the protein. Hm. I get hungry and full fast or slow as if my body can't make up it's mind right now. Most likely due to it's confusion with how to digest. And even the stuff that exits the body has gotten less for the moment, weird.
Oh and as I mentioned if you are going to do this or anything to change your diet you should consult your doctor first. They can tell you what will be good to do for your health. As what you eat does affect your health. This fact is often over looked.
Hey all, Halie here. Just finished eating that chicken salad. Again the texture is what gets me as I haven eaten Chicken or Turkey in such a long time. Yes I drank a soda with it. Currently I have a headache, not sure if it is chicken related or not. I went shopping today and bought a ton of stuff to eat. Even some turkey dogs and turkey bacon. I am working hard to get to eat chicken without a problem.
What problems I have had so far is it feeling like something is kicking around in my stomach and Nausea. If you are a vegetarian going to eat some meat like chicken and such, you will get this too. I might be strong will or stomached so it isn't as bad or I have it really bad. I don't know, never heard of this documented before. So Yeah. I might have some chicken ramen cup tonight as well. I am trying to aim for easy to eat chicken. I was told that grilled or poached or broiled chicken is easiest to eat, but I don't know how to cook chicken yet or even where to buy that. Help me out with you can with suggestions.

Hello, I am Halie. As you know if you watched the video above. I haven't eaten any meat for about 11 to 12 years. Not sure how long since It has been so long. I oringally stopped eating meat because I kept getting sick. Then again I ate beef and pork on a daily basis. So I cut all meat out of my diet without checking it Chicken Or Turkey or other poultry would make me sick.
Now eating meat again will make me sick as my stomach is not use to digesting it. So Yes Chicken and Turkey will make me ill for now, but if the effects ware off after a month or so I am good. I think, I never actually met anyone who tested this, or documented it.
Yesterday was Day 1 of this journey. I noted that the meat feels slimy and is kinda unappealing to touch. Made me wonder why I am even trying. I had forgotten about that quality of meat. While I ate the meat it tasted great and I remembered how I use to have my Chicken/Turkey Sandwhiches with chips in them for added crunch. On Day 1 I had stomach aches and off and on wanting to hurl and really smelly burps. A bit unpleasant but cleared up in a few hours, before dinner. So yeah. Today is Day 2.
Also a note if you think I am not a vegetarian anymore remember there are Pollo-vegetarians who eat poultry. Also that I gave up meat for medical reasons not mental ones.
Well viewers what I ask of you is if you have any chicken/turkey or other bird dishes you want me to try write them down for me. What they are and how to make them. That would rock.
And final note as someone told me yesterday that I was doing this to fit in I should inform you all, I am doing this because I want to, not because I want to fit in. I just really want cashew chicken!
